Currently, we are exciting to be adding a new team member to our corporate office to support our Accounting and Finance team.
This position will performs a wide range of various accounting procedures on a daily basis. This position is responsible for numerous accounting duties that include but are not limited to budgeting, forecasting, statistical reporting and analysis, leasing, audits, and tax activities. This position will work closely with the CEO, CFO, and the general accounting staff daily to ensure proper accounting procedures are followed. Communication and interaction with Plant Managers and Product managers can also be expected in many situations.
Summary of essential job functions
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining numerous Excel workbooks for Banking, Construction in Progress, Fixed Assets, Equipment Leasing and Debt.
- Reviewing:
- Material Requisitions, Purchase Orders and Invoices.
- Checks, transactions, and proofing all balances.
- Capital Improvement Project status
- Classification and Acquisition of Fixed Assets
- Month end closing
- Weekly Production data and labor costs
- Communication with plant managers and administrative personnel to ensure documentation procedures are maintained.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance minimum, Master’s Degree and/or CPA certification preferred
- 3-5 years previous experience with general accounting applications, experience with accounting procedures for manufacturing preferred
Minimum Requirements
- Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF,
- Must possess superior problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to learn and use company-specific ERP software, as well as various other company/manufacturing computer systems
- High volume data entry, time management, organization, filing, and people skills are required
- Ability to occasionally move/lift smaller items weighing up to 25 lbs.
