Job Title: Common Laborer/Flagger
Reports To: Job Foreman
Prepared By/Date: Human Resources 3/31/15
Summary: Traffic Control, Provides craftsmanship to manipulate dirt, stone, asphalt, or concrete with various tools in order to prepare the project areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as requested by their Supervisor.
Working with tools such as shovels, rakes, float trowels, jack hammers, concrete/asphalt saws, and many others.
Be involved with equipment repairs and maintenance. This would require a good deal of bending and stooping, as well as working with hammers, wrenches, etc.

Education/Experience:
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
