We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Transporter to join our team. As a Patient Transporter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of patients within our hospital. Your primary responsibility will be to transport patients to and from various departments for medical procedures, tests, and appointments.
```Duties:```
- Safely transport patients using appropriate equipment such as wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds
- Assist patients in and out of vehicles and ensure their comfort during transportation
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to prevent injury to both patients and yourself
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient transportation needs
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of transport equipment and vehicles
- Provide basic life support as needed in emergency situations
```Qualifications:```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
