About the Unit/Department/Team
This position lives within Fiscal. The individual will be closely integrated with the Accounting Team and other Department Managers.

The Accounting Supervisor will have an integral role in ensuring the company’s financial wellbeing through accurate financial statements and leadership.

Duties & Responsibilities OR Position Summary
- Leads the accounting team (accountant, accounts payable, and cashier) to ensure accounting activities are completed accurately and on time
- Responsible for monthly and annual financial statement reporting
- Responsible for completion of annual Financial Audit and IRS Form 990 Reporting
- Collaborate with Finance Manager, Revenue Cycle Director, Materials Management Director, and other Department Managers to complete various tasks, projects, and reporting assignments

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Accounting
- CPA Preferred
- Supervisory or Management Experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access; specifically Pivot Tables, Macros, Queries and Graphing Functions.
- Knowledge of the principles and techniques of financial and economic analysis.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both financial and clinical staff required.
- Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
- Health Care experience is preferred; knowledge of the following, a plus:
- Clinic and hospital operations
- Medicare/Medicaid payment methodologies, and reimbursement calculations
- Hospital cost accounting principles
