Job Description
Grady Management, Inc, one of the metro area’s leading property management firms is seeking an Accounting Specialist to assist in the day-to-day operations of our Main Office Accounting Department. This position will be responsible for reviewing rent payments, accounts payable, and our energy management systems.
Functions will include but are not limited to:
· Process all payments and invoices
· Process all rent system paperwork
· Process utility payments for assigned communities
· Record HUD/HOC vouchers
· Work closely with community manager(s) to ensure monthly transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled
· Run month-end financial reports
The ideal candidate will have:
· One to two years of accounting experience
· Strong working knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
· Experience with Real Page and Yardi
· Must have a high level of PC proficiency
· Be able to effectively present information and respond to questions
· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
· High performer and a strong team player
· BS or BA degree in Accounting/ Business Administration/ Finance/ Management a plus
