We are seeking to hire an Accounting Office Assistantfor our busy retail and real estate development group. The candidate should be comfortable being the first point of contact, multi-tasking and working independently. The position is fully on site at our newly renovated corporate office in Peabody.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing incoming/outgoing phone calls, emails, and mail.
- Filing and scanning documents.
- Reconciling the daily sales and inventory of multiple retail stores.
- Assisting in bookkeeping tasks such as invoice processing, A/P and A/R.
- Assisting in payroll tasks.
- Researching and resolving data discrepancies (data, cash or inventory shortages, etc.).
- Providing basic IT support including Google Drive assistance, printers, remote connections, etc.
- Assisting management with various tasks as assigned.
Qualifications Include:
- Basic bookkeeping and mathematical skills
- Previous office experience and QuickBooks experience
- Great interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Basic IT skills (spreadsheets, printers, wifi connections, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
