Are you a finance professional with a knack for numbers and a passion for leading? We're in search of an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is an exciting opportunity to spearhead the financial operations of our organization and play a crucial role in our financial decision-making. As an Accounting Manager, you will manage our financial information and make critical business recommendations. You will be responsible for leading our accounting team, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and creating financial policies and procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting, cash flow management, and forecasting.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
• Maximize return and limit risk by managing cash flow and forecasting.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, and enforcing adherence to requirements.
• Manage and mentor members of the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Prepare and present financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends to stakeholders.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a managerial accounting role.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting, cash flow management, and forecasting.
• Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Excellent ability to analyze figures, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to accurately maintain complex financial records.
• High proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software.
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for precision.
