We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standard of service we provide to our clients, overseeing the financial operations, and contributing to the strategic direction of their businesses. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing client relationships effectively.
Salary: $50-55 per hour depending on experience
Hours: 10 Hours a Week to start
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the bookkeeping staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
- Conduct thorough reviews of month end financial reports and related supporting activities, including reconciliations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communications and fostering strong, professional relationships.
- Develop and refine standard operating procedures for each account to enhance financial management and reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness for clients.
- Maintain a growth mindset, constantly seeking opportunities to add value to client businesses and the agency.
- Prioritize tasks and manage a portfolio of 10+ accounts, with the potential for growth.
- Supervise remote employees, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, from team members to management, ensuring clear and concise information flow.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the accounting field.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Online.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing demands.
- Experience with business valuations, mergers, and acquisitions is preferred but not required.
