Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced full-time Accounting Manager to help fulfill the vision of our clients, which is to have accurate, up-to-date books. A successful Accounting Manager combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain books for multiple small to medium companies at the same time and have excellent time management skills. Must be accurate while working in a fast-paced environment.

The Accounting Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Verify and review daily transactions including but not limited to daily bank feeds, accounts payable, and receivable posted by staff.
* Reconcile or review the monthly balance sheet in its entirety
* Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
*Communicate effectively and professionally to staff and clients
* Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
* Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process
* Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
* Support month-end and year-end close process
* Ensure compliance with GAAP principles

*Skills*
* Proven experience as a senior bookkeeper, accounting supervisor, financial controller, or senior accountant with multiple clients at once
* Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
* In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
* Familiarity with financial accounting statements
* Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
* Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online a must, preferably certified
* Advanced MS Excel skills
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
* BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
