About the position:
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing insightful financial guidance and solutions tailored to each client's situation.
- Communicating between clients and business development to ensure engagement objectives are met by all parties.
- Ensure accounting team is meeting with clients regularly and meetings held are effective.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and engage clients in value-added discussions.
- Lead high value client engagements.
- Recognize, respond to, and solve client problems.
- Resolving conflicts or complaints from clients.
- Lead and manage a team of accountants and client service support personnel.
- Hiring, training, motivating and coaching accounting team in providing attentive, efficient services to clients.
- Assessing accounting team for performance.
- Assign tasks, set goals, and ensure timely completion of client deliverables.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance and minimize financial risks for our clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and value creation within our firm and for our clients.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager in a CPA firm or similar accounting firm environment
- Must have experience working directly with clients
- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in financial analysis and reporting tools
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Must live in EST, CST or MST
Compensation:
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
- Eligible for performance based bonuses
