Job Description
The Accounting Manager will have a critical role within The Corporation reporting directly
to the GM of Admin. The general responsibilities will be providing oversight on General Ledger,
Cash Management, A/R, A/P, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and the generation of Financial Statements in
coordination with the GM and President. There will also be Ad Hoc projects and responsibilities as
required. Success of this role will require a working knowledge of the Revenue and Payment Cycles
within the General Ledger.
Responsibilities
Input of weekly payroll and administration of Pay clock.
Maintaining the employee records for Health and Dental, Workers’ compensation,
unemployment, Vacation, Sick time, etc.,
Daily reconciliation of cash and bill payment for multiple entities.
Monthly cash forecast
Monthly closing activities to include journal entries, reviews, accruals, and account
reconciliations.
Monthly review of financial statements and preparation to BD Package
Establish and track KPI’s for the financial status of the company.
Become a superuser in Net Suite on all Financial modules, reporting and dashboards.
Fixed Asset tracking and restatement to GAAP.
Accounting of all FM Holdings Activity on Quick Books.
Other projects and responsibilities as needed.
Specific Goals and Objectives
An integral member of the ERP team and help with the successful Phase 2 implementation
of the new system. This will focus on expanding the existing functionality available to us.
Establish a detailed budget for the new fiscal year.
Upload of prior financial activity through mapping of accounts and segregation of
department labor.
Finance metrices for bank covenants.
Work with MBK on Tax preparation as needed.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of financial systems and processes within a manufacturing
environment.
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Prior experience and proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Must exhibit good judgment, ingenuity, and personal as well as professional integrity.
