o ya, a contemporary Japanese restaurant in Boston’s Leather District, is hiring a General Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join James Beard award winner Chef Tim Cushman’s experienced and close-knit team at one of Boston’s most beloved and decorated restaurants; a place that prides itself on exceptional quality and service.
We are seeking a person with genuinely gracious hospitality as well as a sound grasp of restaurant financial health and day-to-day operations. Qualified candidates will have a professional and positive attitude, the ability to multitask while maintaining composure, and experience managing in a fine dining atmosphere. Ideal candidates have a passion for wine, sake and beverage education and have experience managing these programs. This position works closely with the Chef de Cuisine and ownership to actively support and train their team as they deliver a world-class dining experience with intuitive, warm hospitality and polished service skills.
