Salary: $51,500- $64,800

Reports to: Finance Director

Job Description:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the financial management and analysis of the organization’s 501c3 and 501c4 accounts.  This individual will oversee the processing and recording of the organization’s financial data.  They will report directly to the Finance Director. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Processing daily bank activities for the c3 and c4

• Managing the finances for fiscal sponsorships. Which includes but not limited to managing their budget and providing monthly reports to Finance Director

• Processing of monthly intercompany allocations between c3, c4, and PACs

• Processing of monthly PAC report

• Performs monthly bank reconciliations for FLR’s bank accounts and other corporate entities.  

• Managing and initial approver of company credit card transactions ensuring accurate coding, classification and proper documentation is provided.

• Performs monthly credit card bank reconciliations for FLR’s credit card accounts 

• Oversees weekly processing of accounts payables

• Supervise & Manage c3 and c4 Bookkeepers

Qualifications:

• Must have 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience.  2 years of management experience preferred.

• An Associate Degree in accounting or related field is preferred. 

• Previous experience and familiarity with 501c3/501c4 non-profit accounting, structure, audit, and regulations is preferred

• At least one year of Quickbooks Online and other accounting and reporting software/platforms experience, and ability to oversee software selection, installations, troubleshooting and building relationships with vendors.  

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and a high quality of work is required

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and GoogleSheets. 

• Must share a commitment to the organization's mission and values

• Ability to interact with and understand persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.
