SalaryWe are currently seeking an Accounting Intern to join our team at Little Black Pearl Workshop.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our growing accounting team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in a variety of accounting tasks, assisting with essential financial operations.
Responsibilities:
The funding for this position is from a grant, so applicants must be between the ages of 18-24.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Data entry and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports
- Assist with budget planning and forecasting
- Learn about general ledger maintenance
- Participate in month-end closing procedures
- Maintain financial records and ensure they are up to date
- Additional administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (minimum sophomore year)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Ability to learn new software programs quickly
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Eager to learn and take initiative
