What You Can Expect
As an intern in Chicago, you will work as a supporting key member of the Power Marketing team within the Utility-Scale Renewable Development business. You will support commercial offtake and project marketing efforts to customers for ENGIE’s project portfolio of wind, solar and battery storage projects. You will support identifying and analyzing business opportunities and Request For Proposals (RFPs), actively participating in go/no-go decisions, and leading and coordinating ENGIE’s proposal preparation efforts in response to RFPs.
- Support Power Marketing team in managing RFP proposal process
- Resource utility integrated resource plans & procurement plans
- Develop and maintain, with other groups, commercial and competitive intelligence
What You’ll Bring
- Actively in university working towards a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, science, engineering or similar technical or analytics based program
- Must possess a 3.0 GPA or higher and be able to work up to 40 hours per week
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Extremely organized, results-driven, consistent and reliable attendance with the ability to manage time efficiently and a self-starter
- Ability to operate with high energy and flexibility and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment
- Strong technical writing capabilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Team player with the willingness to help others
- Capability to collaborate across departments within the company and with external customers
Additional Details
- The internship work term will be from May 2024 to August 2024
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $20.50 – $28.00 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
