What Internships Are Available?
One internship opportunity is available in our Finance & Accounting Department. The intern will support the Finance & Accounting Team.
What are the Job Responsibilities?
The intern will provide support to the Finance & Accounting team by completing general accounting tasks and various ad hoc projects. This candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities will consist of:
- Assist in creation and maintenance of financial reports and excel spreadsheets
- Assist with gathering and preparing general ledger entries and month-end close
- Assist accounting and operations team on projects related to financial operations
- Perform other related duties, financial projects and audits as required
- Learn how to use Sage 300 software (general ledger accounting software)
- Learn how to make correct and accurate journal entries
- Learn account and bank reconciliations
- Perform other related Finance & Accounting duties as assigned
What are the Terms and Conditions of the Internship?
- Temporary employment from 5/20/24 - 8/16/24 in Lombard, Illinois – some flexibility to start & end date based on student’s schedule.
- 20-hour work week, Monday–Friday, a schedule will be mutually agreed upon.
- $20.00 / hour
- Interns will not be eligible for Company benefits.
- Dress code is business casual
- Desktop or laptop computer will be provided.
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years or older
- Students with majors in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other related majors. Other majors may be accepted if the student can demonstrate coursework in accounting and business classes
- Years in school: completed at least 2 years at an accredited college or university
- Detailed-oriented and organized
- Team player
- Strong analytical skills
