CME Group is currently looking for an Accounting Department summer intern.
This candidate will assist the Accounting Advisory group with day-to-day activities in support of the Accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting accounting research on technical accounting matters involving non-routine transactions
- Developing a goodwill impairment valuation model
- Assisting with preparation of certain footnote disclosures in our quarterly SEC filing
Skills / Software Requirements:
- Ability to work well in a hybrid work environment in both a team and individual setting.
- Good communication and organization skills.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Prior work experience, especially in a corporate environment, a plus.
Education:
- Currently pursuing a BA/BS or Masters/Advanced Degree in Accounting
