JOB SUMMARY:

Our Assistant Accounting Manager assists in the management of Accounting Department functions by providing guidance to Accounting team members, overseeing projects to completion, and working closely with our financial management team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Lead daily operation of Accounting team to meet department objectives set by Controller
• Delegate projects to Accounting team members and monitor progress to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely completion
• Provide guidance to Accounting team members on assigned tasks
• Analyze, produce, and assist with financial reports, closing processes, AP/AR, payroll, tax compliance, forecasting, account reconciliation, and GL activities
• Conduct revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Successful completion of CPA Exam
• 5+ years’ experience as in-house Corporate Accounting employee (not in Accounting Firm)
• Proven success in a leadership role
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive and proprietary information
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
