Job Description
Position Summary
The Part Time- Accounting Clerk will be responsible for performing a range of clerical and routine accounts payable tasks to support the daily operation of the accounts payable function.
The days/hours will be Monday-Thursday 9am- 1pm and Fridays 9am- 5pm
Primary Role
- Receive, open, and distribute mail
- Print and distribute invoices
- Assist with preparing the accounts payable check run as needed
- File accounting documents, records, and reports
- Copy or scan documents
- Assist with reviewing and coding invoices as needed
- Assist with basic data entry on spreadsheets as needed
- Assist with addressing and responding to both internal and vendor inquiries as needed
- Assist with investigating and resolves problems associated with payment discrepancies and inquiries as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
