General Purpose of Job
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for assisting with various financial tasks and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Assist with technical accounting tasks, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance
Process financial transactions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
Collaborate with other departments to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues
Provide support during audits by gathering necessary documentation and information
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications
Proven ability to learn ERP manufacturing systems.
Strong knowledge of financial services and accounting practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies.
Proficient with GAAP accounting and reporting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
