Job description-
Local Financial Consulting firm in search of an Accounting Clerk / executive assistant for a fast pace office. This is an excellent position for the right individual as they will have the opportunity to grow with us both professionally and financially.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Candidate will provide strong administrative support
- Perform general office duties such as answering telephones for the organization and taking detailed messages, faxing, maintaining and filing records as assigned
- Organize and archive legal documents related to ongoing and completed projects
- Keep office well organized and supplied
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes, and emails
- Prepare meeting agendas and make meeting arrangements
- Download data from various systems into Excel
- Perform basic reporting in Excel
- Enter bills into QuickBooks
- Assist in the timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/yearly closing
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
- Math aptitude and computer skills for assisting accountants and manager in office
- Accounting education background a plus
- Ability to keep company confidences
- Flexible team player; adaptable and enjoys a challenge
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks software

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
