Position Details:
- Prepare reconciliations monthly for general ledger accounts as assigned.
- Prepare standard journal entries monthly.
- Prepare invoices and credit claims as needed.
- Prepare bank deposits and review transactions processed through AR.
- Monitor tool crib and inventory transaction accuracy, run reports and work with the AP department to resolve outstanding receipts.
- Assist in tracking and maintaining COIs for suppliers and submitting customer service claims to insurance.
- Assist with training and back-up of accounting clerical staff members.
- Assists with physical inventory counts.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by being a strong team player.
- Maintains Records and Files as necessary.
- Perform other accounting, financial or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time – quite often on short notice.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of accounting experience and bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Behavior must reflect integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
