INNERGY is an ERP solution that drives the complete business process of custom woodworking shops and other custom and engineer to order (ETO) manufacturing. We are the only fully cloud-based software that unifies the various processes spread across a woodworking company that is accessible from the office or the field. The company was founded in 2016 and is comprised of a unique team that was created from several decades of experience in the software development industry. We are seeking to add an experienced full-time Accounting Associate to our international team in our expanding ERP software company. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for handling AR, AP, banking, payroll, and financial statements. You must be organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, and highly proficient with QB Online.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Review and prepare monthly and year-end financial statements and reports for management
- Coding, entry, and processing of vendor invoices and approve and generate weekly ACH check run
- Post customer receipts, bank deposits and wire transfers
- Process payroll through ADP
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements and maintain GL
- Review billing system invoices generated through Chargebee to insure transfer to QBO
- Entry of new client information for billing and payment scheduling
- Daily review of bank and credit card accounts for available balances
- Domestic and international wire transfer processing
- Assist CPA with year-end financial statements and related year-end paperwork
- Evaluate and implement accounting software upgrades that would continuously improve all financial processes and workflows
- Provide any other related support as it relates to bookkeeping or accounting
- Ensure adherence to GAAP standard
Knowledge and Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance desired
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Enjoys working virtually and is a self-starter with task completion.
- Is looking to work from anywhere in the United States that has a stable phone connection and reliable Wi-Fi
- Has excellent communication skills and is interested in personal growth and development
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Available for W-2 employee work
- English speaker but written or verbal fluency in Polish is a big plus
- Must be available for Microsoft Teams meetings
Training and Job Performance Period:
Upon joining, you’ll be integrated quickly to contribute to INNERGY’s goals. A brief ramp-up period is scheduled to acclimate you to our team dynamics and industry challenges. Your support structure will include:
- Comprehensive initial product briefing with our Product Team
- Onboarding Plan, document, and Continuous Improvement Roadmap.
- Scheduled meetings with all members of Management Team
- 90-day, 6-month, and annual performance reviews.
- Access to the INNERGY Forum for cultural acclimation.
Position requirements:
- Ability to travel for maximum of one week at a time. Both domestic and international travel may be required. A valid US passport will be required, if not already in place. Weekend travel may be required during conventions and shows.
- Your position is not expected to require a significant amount of travel, but we expect that you might be on the road up to 20% of your time.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work / look at a monitor for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 45lbs or less.
