Accounting Associate – AP

Salary based on experience.

Monday – Friday 7a-5p
Are you a reliable, detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic, that is looking for a company to establish yourself? If so, this position is for you! An established manufacturing company in the Welcome, MN area is hiring an Accounting Associate - AP to join their growing team! As the Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable, hourly payroll billing, and providing general support to the Plant Accounting Department.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process supplier invoices, ensure proper approvals are received and matched to reports.
• Ensure all invoices are processed on time to obtain maximum discounts.
• Timely run and review reports and invoices to meet outlined deadlines.
• Process weekly payroll for all hourly paid employees in a timely and accurate manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Some post-secondary accounting courses or 3+ years of previous experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, supervisors, managers, and suppliers.
• Must be efficient with computers, Microsoft Office products, and misc. office equipment.
• Good basic math, reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• CPA
