WHAT YOU’LL DO: TASKS
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
- Process invoices, expense reports, and ensure accurate expense allocation
- Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date financial records
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Assist in regulatory compliance and reporting, including tax filings and audits
- Communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal) with customers and clients to address inquiries related to payments, invoices, and general billing questions
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and provide support as needed
- Perform other financial activities and ad hoc projects
- Commit to handling sensitive financial information with discretion
WHAT YOU’LL BRING: COMPETENCIES
- Strong analytic abilities
- Ability to work independently and with team members
- High degree of attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with insurance accounting software is a plus, but not required
- You like technology and want to use it to do things more efficiently·
