Description
Albion College invites applications for the Associate Director of Advancement Financeand Innovation. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer - Research and Constituent Services, the Associate Director of Advancement Financeand Innovation will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the efficiency of various key functions within the Advancement Department. With a focus on gift processing, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing streamlined procedures to ensure accurate and timely recording of donations and receipting. Also, the Associate Director will lead the creation of streamlined systems for events/forms, optimizing coordination for fundraising activities. Additionally, the Associate Director will enhance the efficiency of email and mailing campaigns, employing innovative strategies to boost donor engagement. The incumbent will also leverage Slate text/voice technologies for seamless communication, fostering personalized interactions with donors. The Associate Director will oversee the implementation of robust data management systems, ensuring secure and accurate donor information recording. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset to the position, leveraging technological innovations within Slate to drive advancements in Finance and operations. This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the success of the Advancement Team by embracing creativity, innovation, and a commitment to excellence within the Slate CRM platform. This position will closely collaborate with colleagues in fundraising, finance, information technology, academic affairs, athletics, and other senior campus administrators to ensure that Institutional Advancement resources are used effectively to grow a culture of increased philanthropy and volunteer leadership to the College.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Significant experience in simple computer programming for querying databases.
Strong preference for candidates with previous fundraising database management experience in higher education or non-profit organizations.
