Accounting Assistant (Temporary)

Job Title: Accounting Assistant (temporary – 3 months)

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

· Review journal entries ensuring completeness and accuracy of general ledgers and compliance of the company internal policy

· Communicate any adjustments to journal entries to the journal entry clerk

· Manage corporate credit card accounts and process cash disbursements for the transactions in system

· Establish weekly closing processes by closely collaborating with the operations to ensure immediate processing of journal entries in alignment with the invoice issuance timeline.

· Collaborate with Financial Managers and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks

Other Requirements:

· Detail-oriented and organized

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Job Location: 1 week in the office (Englewood Cliffs, NJ) then remainder fully remote

Business Hours: Mon-Fri 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM
