Seamstress
Position Summary
As a Team Member of the Uniform Team, the Seamstress is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business. The Seamstress is responsible for ensuring all CRCR uniforms are well-maintained, tailored, and meet the highest quality standards. The role requires exceptional sewing skills with precision and attention to detail.
Essential Functions
- Perform alterations on various types of uniforms to ensure proper fit and comfort for CRCR Team Members.
- Tailor uniforms based on individual Team Members' measurements and preferences.
- Conduct repairs on damaged or worn-out uniforms, extending their lifespan.
- Collaborate with the Uniform Specialist to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
- Ensure all uniform alterations and repairs meet CRCR quality standards.
- Uphold a high level of craftsmanship in garment construction and finishing.
- Demonstrate expertise in working with different fabrics and materials commonly used in CRCR uniforms.
- Effective problem-solving abilities to address issues related to uniform fit, quality, or availability.
- Advise on fabric care and maintenance to enhance uniform durability.
- Collaborate with the Uniform Specialist to understand specific uniform requirements and alterations needed.
- Collaborate with the Uniform Attendants to address individual Team Member preferences and concerns.
- Keep track of uniform alterations and maintain accurate records.
- Stay updated on new sewing techniques, trends, and technologies in the field.
- Coordinate with the Uniform Manager to ensure an adequate supply of uniform materials and supplies.
- Adapt to changing uniform inventory levels and operational requirements.
- Suggest and implement design alterations or improvements as necessary and with management approval.
- Prioritize and manage workload efficiently to meet alteration/repair deadlines for uniforms.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 3+ years in garment construction, alterations, and repairs.
- Familiarity with different types of sewing machines and tools used in garment production and alterations.
- Proficient understanding of garment construction techniques and patterns.
- 5+ years in garment construction, alterations, and repairs.
