What will you do? As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting operations across multiple areas. Your responsibilities will include sending customer invoices, processing payment approvals, and addressing inquiries and concerns related to billing and payments.
As in every startup you will be wearing multiple hats beyond the core responsibilities. This is a great opportunity to get very broad exposure to building and running a business.
Responsibilities:
- Verify and process daily accounts payable for suppliers.
- Send invoices to customers daily.
- Record financial transactions using QuickBooks.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including responding to emails and answering phone calls.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work 28 hours/week minimum. In person only.
- High school diploma
- 0-3 years of administrative or booking experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to thrive under deadlines, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
