Position Summary
The Accounting Assistant will perform assigned duties in the accounting department. Duties can range from accounts receivable and payable to compliance and general clerical. Responsible for confidential and time-sensitive material.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Relieves CFO of various administrative type functions.
- Assist in day-to-day Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payables, and sales tax functions.
- Fully cross-train with team members to serve as backup when needed.
- Maintains employee, customer, and vendor confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports by collecting and analyzing information.
· Performs other duties as assigned by the CFO.
· Collaborate with CFO and team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft applications, especially Excel and Outlook required.
- Critical thinking skills required.
- Excellent organization & time management required.
- An awesome, positive, can-do attitude required.
- Desire to learn and grow within a company that is rapidly growing and changing.
- Flexibility to handle different personalities and varying workloads.
- Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.
Education & Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.
· One year of related experience is required.
