Ritter Center is currently recruiting for an Accounting and Finance Assistant. This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Accounting Manager. This role is based in San Rafael, CA, operating out of our Administrative Offices.

Position Description:
The Accounting and Finance Assistant will work directly with the Accounting Manager, Accountant, and Director of Finance in a supportive role to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Accounting team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (abbreviated for posting; full list available at interview)
Accounts Payable entry of all invoices into the Accounting System electronic payables management system
Track and file monthly Grant Receivable invoices
Assist the Accounting Manager with reconciliations of A/P and A/R on a monthly basis
Assist the Director of Finance with monthly Board packet presentation and distribution to the Executive Assistant as well as other tasks as needed
Match and enter all donation/gift deposits from bank statements into Sage and reconcile with Donor Perfect reports in collaboration with the Fund Development Department.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years familiarity with A/P and A/R, data entry, and basic accounting principals
Fluency with accounting software, databases, and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
Experience with Account Payables, ability to manage and recognize Prepaid Expenses
Accounts Receivables tracking & reporting
Ability to track and report donations
