The Position:
This is a temporary role with full-time hours expected to last approximately 6 months with a start date of January 15th, 2024.
This is the perfect opportunity to gain some experience supporting a winning accounting team within a fully remote, and dynamic organization! We are looking for a diligent, high-performing temporary hire to support our accounting team while we have two employees departing on leave at different times within a 6-month time frame. This position will cover both roles within this 6-month period as outlined below.
Compliance from January 15th - April 5th
Work with the financial team to ensure all required records are maintained and accurate. Support the team with day-to-day functions such as account entry and complete follow-ups with customers and vendors via phone.
- Vet leads using in-house checklist, searching public records, and calling published numbers.
- Assign vetted leads to sales team.
- Verify new business information and work with insurance provider to obtain credit coverage.
- Enter new accounts into the ERP system and maintain records for compliance.
Skills: Attention to detail, time management, customer service, organization, and analytical thinking.
Accounts Receivable from April 8th - July 10th
Perform basic jobs such as data entry and administrative tasks. Support the financial team with day-to-day functions and communicate with customers and vendors via phone and email. Complete some reconciliations. Collect and format data for Staff Accountants to review.
- Process 50+ transactions daily.
- Assist with cash receipts daily.
- Assist weekly with accounts payable transactions.
Skills: Computing, attention to detail, accuracy, time management, organization.
Compensation:
$23/hour
This person will receive the standard 40 hours of PTO that we offer all temporary roles.
