- They are hiring Immediately and this position reports directly to the owner.
Overview of the Accountantrole:
- Completes bookkeeping and payroll responsibilities for small business clients in the area.
- Responsible for general ledger maintenance, accurate journal entry recording, and financial statement preparation.
- Effectively and professionally communicates via email and phone with client base.
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Advises clients on current financial status and provides assistance with forecasting and budgeting.
Preferred Qualifications for the Accountant Role:
- College degree in Accounting preferred
- Knowledge of Drake software is a plus
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Accuracy and attention to detail
