The position will be responsible for general accounting duties including (but not limited to):
- Fixed Asset Accounting
- Identifying and recording necessary journal entries
- Reconciling balance sheet and bank accounts
- Performing an analytical review of accounts for variances and unusual activity
- Preparing tax schedules and financial reports
- Assisting in the annual audit
- Releasing trust wires
The position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while working under time-sensitive deadlines with minimal supervision. Qualified candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong computer skills including MS Excel. We require a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of three (3) years of related work experience preferably in a law firm setting.
