Responsibilities:
- Financial Recordkeeping:
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.
- Record and classify financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and general ledger entries.
- Data Analysis:
- Conduct regular analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and discrepancies.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries to assist management in decision-making processes.
- Reconciliation:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable statements to resolve any discrepancies.
- Assistance in Budgeting:
- Support the budgeting process by providing accurate financial information and assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and report on budget variances, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance and Audit Support:
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and provide support as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
