Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accountant Associate. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Accountant Associate will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the overall success of the finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Recordkeeping:
• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.
• Record and classify financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and general ledger entries.
• Data Analysis:
• Conduct regular analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries to assist management in decision-making processes.
• Reconciliation:
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable statements to resolve any discrepancies.
• Assistance in Budgeting:
• Support the budgeting process by providing accurate financial information and assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor and report on budget variances, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Compliance and Audit Support:
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and provide support as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
