Accountant

Inova Partners (“Inova”) has an immediate opening for a full-time Accountant to join our team. This position will work with a variety of clients, business partners and staff on a regular basis in a relaxed, yet professional atmosphere.

Inova, based in Weatherford, Texas, offers professional veterinary practice management solutions for busy equine, mixed and small animal practices located throughout the country. Our services include bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, managerial accounting, cash management, financial reporting and analysis, human resources management, marketing, and information systems.

Accountant Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Organizing, coordinating and overseeing a variety of full-cycle accounting functions including cash management.
• Financial reporting.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Payroll.
• Accounts receivable.
• Accounts payable and bookkeeping.
• This position is also responsible for the preparation and submission of reports to federal, state and local agencies.

Accountant Qualifications and skills:

• Possess a high level of full-cycle accounting knowledge for multi-client operations.
• Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment and be resourceful.
• Excellent follow-up and prioritization skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• Extensive experience in QuickBooks, required.
• Familiarity with inter-company journal entries.
• Public accounting experience, preferred.
• Payroll experience, preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• ·Excellent professional, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Possess a positive attitude with a strong desire to learn.
• Bachelors’ degree in accounting or finance, required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
