Accountant

As a full-time Spectrum Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial reports for a portfolio of associations. You will build relationships with our management company clients, providing guidance and clarity with regard to association finances.

Responsibilities

• Daily bank reconciliations

• Create journal entries in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• Produce monthly financial reports

• Assist clients with accounting questions

• Enter year end audit entries

• Assist with annual audits and reviews

• Assist with annual budget entry

• Research and resolve accounting issues

• Assist with on-boarding new clients into the software

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting OR at least 5 years accounting/bookkeeper experience including financial preparation

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to meet deadlines

• High attention to detail

• Ability to sit for long periods of time

• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)

Benefits, Hours and Pay

Business Work hours are Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm Salary range for this position is $45,000-60,000 depending on prior accounting experience The compensation package also includes:
