SalaryKey Role:
Support the monthly close and general accounting processes for the company as a member of the corporate accounting general ledger team. Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries and fluctuation analyses for key business processes, including prepaid assets and payroll related accruals. Provider support on property lease accounting and supporting cost accounting allocations. Prepare GL account reconciliations, journal entries, fluctuation analyses, review lease terms and other related analysis. Support company financial, internal and regulatory audits and contribute to ongoing process improvement projects. Work closely with other teams within the finance organization to ensure internal controls are followed and proper accounting is performed in a timely and accurate manner and assist with evolving business needs and special projects, as requested. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Accounting
Experience with using Microsoft Office products, including advanced Excel
Knowledge of compliance requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley, including identifying and documenting key controls and processes, assisting with remediation activities and supporting internal controls testing
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with government cost accounting standards
Ability to manage details, multi-task and prioritize changing objectives in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional environments as a team player
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating with all levels of staff
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Licensed or candidate CPA Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
