Salary Range: $60,000 - $100,000 (based on experience and qualifications)

Your Role:

As an Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements; provide management with insights.
• General Ledger & Tax Management: Manage general ledger and tax filings.
• Accounting Operations: Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and monitor performance.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to GAAP and manage financial risks.
• Financial Software Proficiency: Utilize and improve accounting software and systems.
• Audit & Cash Flow Management: Support audit preparations and manage cash flow.
• Strategic Financial Planning: Conduct financial analyses for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Alignment with our Core Values.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or 7+ years of experience.
• CPA certification (preferred).
• Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and fluency in English.

Location:

Fairbanks, Alaska, offers a unique living experience with its vibrant community and natural beauty. (In-person is preferred, but will consider remote work for highly advanced-level accountant)
