Job Title: Comptroller

Location: On-Site. Norwalk, Ohio

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.

Compensation: Based on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Comptroller to join our dynamic team. As the Comptroller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of our organization, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing strategic financial guidance to support decision making.

Responsibilities:

· Manage and oversee all aspects of financial accounting, budgeting, and reporting.

· Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

· Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.

· Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.

· Oversee the crucial end-of-month closing process for accurate financial reporting.

· Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.

· Lead and mentor the accounting team fostering a high-performance culture.

· Assess and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

· Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.

· Macola software experience preferred.

· Proven experience as a Comptroller or in a similar financial leadership role.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to lead and inspire a team, with a focus on collaboration and results.

· Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
