SalaryQuanex is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join our team located in Akron, OH.
The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for reviewing, sorting, coding, scanning, and posting invoices into company ERP systems timely and accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures. In addition to providing timely payment to vendors in accordance with departmental KPI's and cash management objectives, investigate and provide resolution to any challenges.

What Success Looks Like:
- Responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of our Accounts Payable operations including invoice tracking, disbursement cycle processing and effectively executing related controls.
- Resolves payments or billing issues with vendors.
- Assists with coordinating and setting up processes as well as research technical AP issues.
- Oversees vendor setup and maintenance.
- Oversees the company’s travel and entertainment expense reporting program, including reviewing expense reports for policy adherence.
- Assists in weekly cash flow forecasts.
- Manages and processes annual 1099 forms ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Serves as a point of contact for audit support.
- Process credit applications for vendors.
- Experience in executing internal controls surrounding all aspects of cash disbursement cycles.
- Experience and proven track record in continuous process improvement initiatives
- Ability to present excellent and courteous customer service, create and maintain effective working relationships with other members of the department.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding company accounting practices and procedures, including vendor information.
- Ability to plan, direct and review the work of subordinate Accounts Payable coordinators.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities appropriately.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Understanding of intercompany accounting procedures
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communicator, both written and oral
Your Credentials:
- 5+ years’ experience working in medium to large size company’s Accounts Payable and/or Shared Services Department
- 3+ years’ experience serving in a lead or oversight capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business Admin preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Previous experience issuing annual 1099’s.
- Experience managing all aspects of invoice processing cycles.
- Experience with Procure-to-Pay systems.
The salary range for this position is: $77,557 to $96,946.
