Position's Contribution to Work Group:
Review accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports created by staff to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Create recordkeeping and accounting systems.
Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel and direct their work activities.
Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend and/or develop solutions to business and financial problems.
Review and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
Members of the Client Financial Oracle EBS Finance Support team are responsible for troubleshooting and resolving system issues and solutioning and testing of newly requested functionality. This position will work closely with other teams (IS, Technical, Business, and Reporting) to bring resolutions to issues in a timely manner.
Typical Day:
Review accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports created by staff to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Create recordkeeping and accounting systems.
Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel and direct their work activities.
Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend and/or develop solutions to business and financial problems.
Review and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
Accounting systems (Planning Analytics and Controller) knowledge required.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
8-10 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
Technical Skills (Required):
Accounting systems (Planning Analytics and Controller) knowledge required.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.
Knowledge of Oracle R12 and Oracle EBS applications
Knowledge of Lease Accounting
Advanced Excel Skills preferred.
Soft Skills Required (Required):
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
Demonstrated ability to handle account analysis and effectively communicate the results to manager and staff.
Advanced knowledge and ability to reconcile accounts and resolve any resulting issues.
Thorough knowledge of U. S GAAP and the proven ability to apply Lease Accounting to solve issues.
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple issues simultaneously.
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
