The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for an Accountant, salary $55,000 - $75,000. This position is responsible for overseeing the accounting function, managing grants, financial reporting, reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and maintaining the general ledger of the district in compliance with board policy, administrative regulations, and standardized records management procedures. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field, 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others, and acceptable record of attendance required.
