Rapid Die Cut(“RDC”) is a rapidly growing digital manufacturer and converter of custom parts made from various non-metal materials. We serve 20+ industries in North America and provide custom-cut parts for hundreds of different applications.
We seek a highly motivated, self-starting, and professional individual with a technical background and B2B inside sales experience who understands manufacturing technologies. This individual will be a trusted advisor to prospects and customers by leveraging their technical expertise and business acumen to propose relevant solutions to real business problems. Our Inside Sales Team works with our Customer Service Team to sell our materials and manufacturing services across business units and markets in North America. The Inside Sales Rep anticipates and overcomes technical objections to grow and accelerate sales opportunities and provide the right solution to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
- Work with the customer on the project details and strategize the best cost solution.
- Prepare and send quote proposals.
- Follow up on quotes and convert them to orders.
- Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
- Closes new accounts by answering telephone and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information.
- Develops accounts by checking customers’ buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
- Work with the company's technical customer service team that supports the inside sales team.
- Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
- Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements and Skills:
- 2+ years in a directly related technical customer experience role with the responsibility of problem-solving and leading projects
- Technical aptitude with the ability to communicate technical information to others at various levels
- Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to be highly responsive
- Mechanically intuitive and knowledgeable about manufacturing processes
- Just as comfortable in deep technical discussions with engineers and manufacturing professionals as they are presenting to varied audiences, including executives
- Experienced in preparing technical solutions for business proposals
- Manage a Quote Pipeline within a CRM system
- Must be Goal-oriented and able to hit set KPIs, closing rates, and quarterly revenue targets.
- ERP Platform Experience
- Driven and self-motivated with the ability to manage and advance projects and customer relationships with minimal oversight in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen, professional tact, and negotiation tactics
- Engineering degree (mechanical preferred), or related technical degree
- Demonstrated project management and presentation skills.
- CAD experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel if needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or Industrial sales, or related technical focus or equivalent work experience
