Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share
- Develop trust and relationships with key accounts, prospective clients and local business leaders
- Understand our customers growth strategy and position services in support of their goals
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Arkatechture's MSP offering, Arkalytics
- Qualify, and close cross & up-sell business
- Work with partners to extend our reach
- Manage and track customer and transactional information in a CRM system. Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast through the CRM system
- Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers and support staff
- Practice effective time-management skills and leadership; you must be able to keep meetings, clients and other stakeholders on-task and productive
- Travel to customer locations and conferences in support of sales efforts (up to 10-20%)
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of technology related sales or business development experience
- 3-5+ years of direct field experience selling software and business intelligence services
- Experience in identifying and selling technologies in existing customers and expanding within an organization
- Experience working with different functions within an organization- Customer Success and/or Product
- Highly organized multi-tasker who is self-driven
- Ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong self-organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Consistent record of surpassing personal and organizational goals
- Comfortable executing a wide range of responsibilities
- Drive to succeed and learn
- Proven track record of teamwork
- Proficient with GSuite and Hubspot (or similar CRM)
Preferred Experience
- Experience in selling financial services products
- Experience in product sales and consultative approach to solutions selling
- Work experience in a start-up or a small, fast-paced environment
- Sales process documentation and implementation
- Experience in building out a successful and sustainable sales organization
