The Telemedicine Account Manager (TAM) will be responsible for selling to new customers as well as growing our existing customer base. This can be achieved through strengthening IDEXX relationships, communicating the value of our Telemedicine Services and growing our revenue through case submissions for Radiology, Cardiology and additional Telemedicine Services.
In the Telemedicine Account Manager role:
- Your day-to-day responsibility will include those activities outlined below, plus any additional tasks that we may reasonably ask you to complete. You will deliver on quarterly and annual case volume and revenue goals, maximizing profit margin through strategic contract negotiations.
- You will effectively prospect and qualify new sales leads through the utilization of opportunity reports. Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects.
- You'll provide accurate and up-to-date sales forecast to sales leaders.
- You will Negotiate price, case volumes and terms and conditions. Prepare sales agreements for customers.
- Maintain Salesforce with timely and accurate profiles, notes and opportunity information.
- You will create and maintain strategic relationships that gain loyalty, develop a strong understanding of accounts core business objectives.
- Work to coordinate sales opportunities that span multiple IDEXX products involving multiple IDEXX sales representatives.
- You will Work in close partnership with Sales and Marketing Leaders to create and implement short and long-term strategies to help meet sales goals and revenue objectives. Understand and promote new
- offerings.
- You will Prepare general reports and other account planning information that summarizes work activities and sales results for your assigned book of business. Prepare various analyses as needed to highlight issues and resolve questions.
- You will engage and play an active role in working with Sales Leaders and Line of Business to further develop best practices in how we sell, market, onboard and support our customers.
What you need to succeed?
- 3-5+ years of documented history of success as a sales professional, preferably within the animal health/veterinary industry or if in human healthcare, you are already familiar with selling services.
- You possess bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Medical technologist, veterinary technician, DVM or VMD degree (a plus)
- Excellent customer service and business relationship-building skills required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive, can-do attitude and with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Must be able to conduct high level negotiations that deliver positive revenue results to IDEXX.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build lasting relationships with customers & colleagues and to work with all levels internally and externally.
- Ability to present and explain information in a way that establishes rapport; persuades others; and gains understanding. Ability to work virtually in an effective manner.
- Capability to absorb and articulate technical information in a precise manner.
- Integrity, keeping commitments to colleagues, customers and the company.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Travel:
- You are able to travel overnight, if needed and potentially work weekends, if needed to attend tradeshows or other occasional meetings.
- May visit Veterinary Clinics
