JOB OVERVIEW:
The Magnolia Bakery Account Manager, Wholesale will spearhead sales and play a key role in revenue growth and brand building through our Wholesale Fresh Baked/Frozen assortment expansion nationwide. They will be responsible for growing sales and delivering against a revenue plan, as well as providing best in class service for prospective and existing customers and distributors. The Account Manager will drive intentional growth through all aspects including sales, competitor analysis, sell through analysis, marketing, pricing/promotion, reporting and deep collaboration with supply chain, finance, and creative teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work strategically and proactively to achieve and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets through managing diverse accounts portfolio.
- Own the customer relationship for distributors and direct, including the deployment of resources for marketing planning, growth and customer P&L alongside cross-functional team.
- Responsible for setting pre-buy appointments, selling the collection, providing buyers with guidance on collections and trends at market, in the field and virtually.
- Collecting and actioning customer feedback and provide effective, efficient solutions.
- Set up new accounts and channels following Magnolia Bakery Wholesale on-boarding procedures.
- Provide account information that includes sales data, billing, product assortment, etc cross-functionally.
- Lead workflows between other departments and the customer to provide the best experience by coordinating proper sales collateral, training materials, and business development tools that include product sampling, digital and printed material, product and brand education, etc.
- Represent Magnolia Bakery at various events such as trade shows, events, etc.
- Track and report key wholesale metrics which may include New Account Acquisition, Revenue to goal, product mix and weekly sales data.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience of 2+ years of direct relationship(s) and/or distributor(s) within a variety of wholesale channels (Airports, Online, Foodservice, Grocery, etc)
- Prior experience in field sales & marketing, category management or related field
- Strong collaborator and team player with demonstrated track record of generating revenue through product sales
- Exceptional people skills with highly developed facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
- Deep understanding and experience in business development process and process optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in Excel and Powerpoint
- Ability to grasp product knowledge and channel requirements quickly
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Being target driven and highly motivated
- Ability to travel to (up to 25%).
- Ability to interact with vendors and partners at an executive level.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with strong decision-making skills
- Excellent written and oral presentation and communication skills.
- BA/BSc degree in Marketing, Business or a related field

- Position requires standing and walking for period of 3-5 hours without a rest break.
- Occasional moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, bending, and reaching overhead may be required.
