The Corsair sales team is looking for a dynamic individual to manage our US distribution channel. This position will be responsible for building and driving an impactful distribution strategy and supporting our key accounts.
General Purpose:
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding targets and growth plans with both distribution and key accounts.
- Create and execute sales and marketing plans.
- Create and manage demand generation plans.
- Manage channel inventory and forecasting closely.
- Maintain a high level of relationship and motivation for the Corsair brand within distribution.
- Identify business opportunities and problems.
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Be able to create and execute a Sales and Marketing plan for your area of responsibility.
- Be able to measure performance accurately weekly / monthly / quarterly.
- Manage demand generation plans with accounts via promotion, marketing, forums, placement, and merchandising.
- Identify any weaknesses quickly and create a plan to correct them.
- Be able to identify business growth areas within your customer base - focus and measure results.
- Build strong relationships at all levels within your accounts. Visit customer locations frequently.
- Work well with customer's sales teams - run promotions when / where required and training on new products.
- Understand and work with our reseller and distribution partners to meet the accounts/channels needs.
- Build run rates and forecast stock levels closely within all accounts to ensure maximum sales potential.
- Ensure that resellers and distributors have a strong understanding of Corsair's products and objectives.
- Maintain regular competitive pricing analysis of top sellers and highlight concerns to the channel marketing team and local sales manager.
- Possess customer-centric skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Corsair's core values.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Must be enthusiastic and dependable
- 3+ years of experience in IT Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Account Management
- Intermediate experience working with MS Office Suite; proficient in Excel (creating charts, pivot tables, lookup, formulas) is a preference.
- Experience and technical knowledge of the PC Gaming or PC Hardware market preferred
- Possesses a passion for technology and is proactive in staying current on the latest products to market
- Well organized, process driven with the ability to multitask fast and efficiently
- Ability to prioritize and demonstrate attention to detail with great accuracy
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Ability to articulate a point of view and negotiate
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Annual OTE $120,000-$140,000
