Account Manager

In this role the member will be responsible for day-to-day insurance requests of Personal Insurance clients so our ideal candidate must be willing to put our clients' needs first.

The annual salary starts at $62K with 25% split new business commission.

Service and provide rate quotes for new and existing book of clients.

Build relationships, explain detailed coverage and policy information and process changes as needed.

Maintain client base by contacting clients, understanding their needs, providing each with a full account review at renewal time and suggesting coverage changes when applicable.

Assist clients with claim counseling.

Provide quality service to clients and is motivated to resolve concerns/conflicts.

Maintain a broad knowledge of insurance products and underwriting guidelines. *Training with our carriers is provided within the first 3-6 months of hire*

Work under the supervision and report directly to the Personal Lines Manager and Operations Manager.

Experience in the insurance industry is mandatory

This is an in-office position

Must have a Washington state Property and Casualty insurance license or willing to obtain before hire

Strong computer skills including: Ability to write grammatically correct business correspondence

Ability to exercise judgment in order to problem solve when the answer is not readily apparent.

Strong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly.

Ability to set priorities, which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.

Experience with agency management systems (i.e. Hawksoft/CMS or Applied Epic) is preferred but not mandatory.
