Position Summary
The Account Manager position develops, manages and maintains business relationships with new and existing OEM & Distributor accounts. Serves as a liaison between RW Beckett and the customer(s) to manage expectations so that all parties meet and/or exceed annual revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements account-specific strategies to maintain and grow the organization’s business with customers.
- Manages the relationship and customer expectations during the implementation of new products, pricing adjustments, operational or logistical procedures, and product modifications or changes. Communicates with customers to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise pre/post-sale.
- Collaborates with product managers, engineering, logistics and manufacturing to create strategic solutions to address customer needs.
- Manages the internal PCO process when changes to customer-specific product specifications have or will become necessary.
- Provides customer forecast data and assists in the development of the Beckett SIOP.
Experience – 5+ years of related experience required
Education – Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business preferred
